Introduction

Welcome to the Video Player Block user guide. This document helps you set up, customize, and display beautiful, fast, and responsive videos on your WordPress website.

Whether you use our free player or upgrade to our premium Pro features, this step-by-step tutorial will make your video setup simple and quick.

Prerequisites Checklist

Please make sure you have the following items ready before you begin:

• WordPress Version: Your website must run on WordPress version 6.5 or higher.
• User Role: You need Administrator access to your WordPress dashboard.
• Video Files: Prepare a self-hosted video file (MP4, WebM, or OGG format) or copy a video link from YouTube or Vimeo.
• Subtitle Files (Optional): Prepare accessibility track files in VTT format if you want to add subtitles.

How to Install and Activate the Plugin

Follow these steps to install the free version of the Video Player Block plugin:

Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard and navigate to Plugins → Add Plugin from the left sidebar menu. Search for Video Player Block in the search field, then locate the plugin developed by bPlugins in the search results and click the Install Now button to begin the installation. 

Click the Activate button once the installation is complete.

Click the Allow & Continue button to subscribe to our newsletter and receive the latest updates and news about our plugin.

After that, the system will redirect you to the plugin dashboard.

How to Purchase and Download the Pro Version

To purchase and download the Video Player Block Pro version, follow these steps:

Go to Video Players → Help & Demos from your WordPress dashboard sidebar menu.

The default welcome page will open automatically.

Click the Pricing tab from the top navigation menu.

Choose the package that best fits your needs (Single Site, 3 Sites, or Unlimited Sites).

Click the Buy Now button under your selected package.

A secure checkout popup window will appear on your screen where you can enter your billing and payment information. After filling in the required details, click the review order or confirmation button to complete your purchase successfully.

After your purchase is completed successfully, you will receive a confirmation email containing:

• Your Pro plugin download link
• Your license key
• Your purchase details and activation information

Download the Pro plugin .zip file from the email and install it on your WordPress website.

How to Install the Pro Plugin

After downloading the Pro plugin .zip file from your purchase email, follow these steps to install it on your WordPress website:

Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard. Go to Plugins → Add Plugin from the left sidebar menu. Click the Upload Plugin button at the top of the page.

Click the Choose File button and select the Pro plugin .zip file you downloaded from your email.

Click the Install Now button to begin the installation process.

Wait a few moments while WordPress uploads and installs the plugin files.

Once the installation is complete, click the Activate Plugin button.

The Video Player Block Pro plugin is now installed and ready for license activation.

How to Activate the Pro License

After purchasing, downloading, and installing the Pro version of the Video Player Block plugin, follow these steps to activate your license and unlock all premium features.

There are two ways to access the license activation screen.

Option A: License Activation Screen (First-Time Setup)

After activating the Pro plugin, click Video Player from the left sidebar menu in your WordPress admin dashboard.

The first time you open the plugin dashboard, the license activation input field will be displayed automatically.

Enter your license key into the activation input field and click the Activate License button to unlock all Pro features and premium player engines.

Once the license is activated successfully, all Pro features and premium player engines will be unlocked automatically.

After successful activation, the license activation screen will not be shown again.

Option B: From the Custom Admin Dashboard

Go to Video Player → Help & Demos from the WordPress admin sidebar.

Open the Activation tab from the top navigation menu.

The license activation page will open inside the custom plugin dashboard.
