Introduction

Lottie Player is a helpful block Plugin for WordPress’s Gutenberg block editor. It contains many features that help you embed LottieFiles animation into your WordPress websites. LottieFiles provides animation, and motion graphics assets for modern websites.

Pre-Requirements

To get started with Lottie Player, you will need,

• WordPress 5.8 or higher
• PHP 7.1 or higher
• Lottie Player

Installation

There are four ways to install and activate the Lottie Player plugin on your WordPress site.

1st Way: Install from Gutenberg Editor

• Go to your Gutenberg editor and click on the plus icon in the top left corner.
• Then search for Lottie Player Block, and you will see the Lottie Player in the Available to Install area.
• Click on that. It will add the block to your editor.

2nd Way: Install by Upload

• Download the latest version of the Lottie Player (.zip file).
• Login into your WordPress Admin dashboard.
• Click on the left-side Plugin menu.
• Now at the top of the page, you can see the Add New button, click on that button.
• Again at the top of the page, you can see the Upload Plugin button, click on that button for the following process.
• Click on the Choose File.
• Now upload the zip file(embed-lottie-player.zip) and click on the Install Now button.
• Activate the plugin.

3rd Way: Install by Search

• Login into your WordPress Admin dashboard.
• Click on the left-side Plugin menu.
• Now, on the right side, search for the Lottie Player.
• Click on the Install Now button.
• Once the plugin is installed, click on the Activate button.

4th Way: Install using FTP

• Extract the plugin zip file(embed-lottie-player.zip). It will create an embed-lottie-player folder with all files and folders inside it.
• Using your FTP programs like Filezilla or cPanel, upload the non-zipped plugin folder into the /wp-content/plugins/ folder on your server.
• Go to the Dashboard » Plugins » Installed Plugins page and find Lottie Player from the plugins list.
• Click on the Activate button to activate the plugin.

Add Block

In your Gutenberg editor find the Lottie Player and insert it, just like other blocks.

License Activation

Let’s see how easily you can activate your license for the Lottie Player plugin on your WordPress site.

Navigate to Plugins » Lottie Player » Active License.

After clicking Activate License you will see a popup.

Insert your license key on the field.

Agree to send the website URL, email, and license key to the plugin server for verification.

Click on Activate License button.
