Introduction

Advanced Post Block is a useful plugin for the new WordPress Gutenberg block editor. It added many new features for displaying posts or custom post content on your web page or posts.

Advanced Post Block is a powerful and flexible block plugin that allows you to display your WordPress posts and pages in customizable and engaging layouts. With this plugin, you can create advanced post listings, highlight specific posts, and showcase your content in unique and interactive ways.

Pre-Requirements

To get started with Advanced Post Block, you will need,

• WordPress 5.9 or higher
• PHP 7.1 or higher
• Advanced Post Block

Installation

There are four ways to install and activate the Advanced Post Block plugin on your WordPress site.

1st Way: Install from Gutenberg Editor

• Go to your Gutenberg editor and click on the plus icon in the top left corner.
• Then search for Advanced Post Block, and you will see the Advanced Posts in the Available to Install area.
• Click on that. It will add the block to your editor.

2nd Way: Install by Upload

• Download the latest version of the Advanced Post Block (.zip file).
• Login into your WordPress Admin dashboard.
• Click on the left-side Plugin menu.
• Now at the top of the page, you can see the Add New button, click on that button.
• Again at the top of the page, you can see the Upload Plugin button, click on that button for the following process.
• Click on the Choose File.
• Now upload the zip file(advanced-post-block.zip) and click on the Install Now button.
• Activate the plugin.

3rd Way: Install by Search

• Login into your WordPress Admin dashboard.
• Click on the left-side Plugin menu.
• Now, on the right side, search for the Advanced Post Block.
• Click on the Install Now button.
• Once the plugin is installed, click on the Activate button.

4th Way: Install using FTP

• Extract the plugin zip file(advanced-post-block.zip). It will create an advanced-post-block folder with all files and folders inside it.
• Using your FTP programs like Filezilla or cPanel, upload the non-zipped plugin folder into the /wp-content/plugins/ folder on your server.
• Go to the Dashboard » Plugins » Installed Plugins page and find Advanced Post Block from the plugins list.
• Click on the Activate button to activate the plugin.

Add Block

In your Gutenberg editor find the Advanced Posts Block and insert it, just like other blocks.

How to add a block in a different way.

License Activation

Let’s see how easily you can activate your license for the Advanced Post Block plugin on your WordPress site.

Navigate to Plugins » Advanced Post Block » Active License.

After clicking Activate License you will see a popup.

Insert your license key on the field.

Agree to send the website URL, email, and license key to the plugin server for verification.

Click on Activate License button.
